After our lie in we packed and left Zion heading for Page in Arizona. Entering Arizona we gained 1 hour due to the time difference. First stop of the day was scheduled to be Glenn Canyon Dam but somehow we were running late so skipped it and drove to Horseshoe Bend. Being only a half mile walk to the bend from the road I expected it to be busy but it was crazy busy. We found a quiet spot and ate our lunch enjoying the view as a speedboat went round the bend.
We made up time and had a quick stop at Glen Canyon Dam (I didn't want Hazel to be disappointed if we had to miss it). The dam is only a few feet shorter in height than the Hoover Dam that we visited a couple of years ago.
We had a tour of Lower Antelope Canyon booked for 3:10 so we made it there with time to spare so sat and relax for a while. As the photos show the tour through the slot Canyon was just stunning. Our Navajo Indian guide set our cameras up to get great photos.

We ended the day at a scenic viewpoint over Lake Powel and the marina as Hazel practiced some of the poses we'd seen other tourists doing during the day.
Woooooowwwww those photos of the slot canyon are incredible 😱
