Mammoth Hot Springs and a Bison Jam.

A quick photo beside Yellowstone Lake.

We drove through Hayden Valley again on our way to Mammoth Hot Springs, unfortunately we didn't see the bear this time.

Fort Yellowstone Guardhouse, the Army administered Yellowstone before the creation of the National Parks Service.

Quite fascinating, Mammoth Hot Springs.

Orange Spring Mound.

A Bison Jam, it was quite intimidating when he stood and stared at us!

Tower Falls

Dunraven Pass at 8859 feet.

We just had time for a quick walk down to Bridge Bay Marina before sunset. Our last night at Lake Lodge tonight, looking forward to staying at Old Faithful Inn tomorrow night.

  1. Bet it was smelly? Used to make Grace ill in New Zealand. Fascinating though.

    1. It did give off a bit of a stink. We kept smelling it in the car for hours afterwards.
